Al-Jabaly Industrial Est has established a Quality Control Department in its factories to meet and keep pace with the high development in the industry. This is achieved through the utilization of the latest laboratory devices and modern technical equipment, which contribute to enhancing the quality of work. The role of the Quality Control Department within the corporation is primarily supervisory and supportive to production.

The Quality Control Department conducts numerous tests to ensure the safety of the product and that it meets the required specifications. There are two types of tests:

The Quality Control Department’s Activities

Micrometer Device

Ensure that the thickness of the product is within the standard tolerance

Road Device

Knowledge of mechanical properties to withstand the force of plastic for roads on the width of the balloon is complete with checking all the folding areas 

Tensile Device

Ensure that the product is within the required mechanical checks from longitudinal and transverse tensile, longitudinal and transverse ductility

Thermal Device

Knowledge of the optical properties of plastic and the extent of heat preservation, both internal and external

Permeability & Dispersal Device

Knowledge of the optical properties of plastic of light transmittance and dispersion and their compatibility with what is required in terms of geographical location

Cutting Machine

Cut all samples for the laboratory with a special device for cutting, where the sample is cut in proportion to what the test equipment’s needs

The inspections also include:


✓ Determining the sweat and fogging properties of plastic through routine examination with laboratory equipment.

✓ Ensuring the actual weights of plastic and comparing them to standard weights using accurate digital scales.

✓ Verifying the actual material proportions and comparing them to standard proportions in the mixture using an automated mixing system.

✓ Checking the welding of plastic by subjecting it to high heat for a period of time and conducting longitudinal and transverse tensile tests.

✓ Ensuring the safety of the produced rolls, checking them for defects, ensuring proper packaging, the presence of plastic plugs for the cores for preservation, and ensuring proper binding of the rolls on the pallets and placing them correctly.
